Heatless Adsorption Dryer
The compressed air exiting the compressor contains a significant amount of water vapor particles, oil, and other impurities. The presence of water particles in the air coming from the compressor leads to oxidation, corrosion, and damage to the equipment that uses compressed air.
A heatless adsorption dryer (desiccant dryer) is used to remove these particles from compressed air, making it suitable for environments with a low dew point (ranging from -25°C to -45°C). It is commonly used in the following applications:
Process control of instrumentation
Food and pharmaceutical industries
Paint industries
Explosion-proof environments
Adsorption dryers are highly efficient and require minimal maintenance due to their simple control system.
Air Drying Process:
The desiccant material reduces the dew point of the compressed air to -25°C.
Two towers are filled with desiccant material, and each tower alternately performs air drying and regeneration.
Advantages of Komsan Industrial Group Dryers
At the air inlet section of the towers, a special alloy, stainless steel filter is installed with the following exceptional effects:
The desiccant material is protected from direct contact with water, which significantly increases its lifespan.
It distributes and reduces the speed of incoming air into the towers (by creating a large cross-sectional difference), which greatly enhances the moisture absorption capacity.
The dryers manufactured by Komsan Industrial Group are designed and built in accordance with international standards (ASME) and are certified with the ISO 9001:2008 quality management standard by SGS, the international inspection institute of Switzerland. Moreover, the high-quality desiccant used allows achieving a dew point of -25°C to -40°C.
