Today’s spiral compressor, oil is the most common liquid used in lubrication due to its good lubrication properties. Due to this, other liquids are also used, including water. Liquid-injected screw compressors can be built for high pressure ratios, as they produce a pressure equivalent to 13 bar with one air compression stage.
